Mechanized Monster: Say Hello to the Godzilla V8

Every 2027 Super Duty starts with more power than before. The 7.3L Godzilla V8 the standard engine has taken over. That means every 2027 F-250 and 2027 F-350 now comes with an engine that produces 430 hp and 485 lb-ft of torque. For contractors and tradespeople who haul heavy loads day in and day out, that is a meaningful upgrade right at the entry level.

On the diesel side, the standard-output unit is being discontinued in favor of the high-output 6.7L Power Stroke. The HO Power Stroke delivers a best-in-class 500 hp and 1,200 lb-ft of torque. You can be certain Ford's diesel engine remains the best choice in the heavy duty truck marketplace.

New XL Off-Road 35-Inch Tire Package

Not every buyer needs the full Tremor treatment. Ford heard that, too. The new XL Off-Road 35-Inch Tire Package is designed for XL buyers who want serious ground clearance and trail-ready capability without stepping into a dedicated off-road trim.

This package is available on the XL Crew Cab, 4WD, short-bed, single-rear-wheel configuration. It pairs a factory lift with 35-inch tires and off-road hardware, giving work-first buyers a more capable truck straight from the factory. Whether you want one good truck or are buying fleet vehicles, this is a smart, value-conscious choice for ranchers, utility workers, and tradespeople who spend time on unpaved roads and rough terrain as part of the job.

Built Ford Tough Meets Built Carhartt Strong

How exciting is this! The 2027 Ford Super Duty Carhartt Package is the first-ever collaboration between Ford and Carhartt on a production vehicle.

Shoppers can get the special package if they choose an XLT Crew Cab. (Sorry, it’s only available with single-wheel, not double-wheel configurations).

Carhartt and Ford designers created a unique look utilizing textured graphics that actually protect the lower body panels from dirt, mud and other debris. Graphics continue on the tailgate, doors, and fender vents. Contrast points include a dark-painted grille and painted wheels. Off-road running boards add to the look and utility of this Super Duty package.

Iconic Duck Canvas inspired the Carhartt material choice, rendered with triple-stitch construction. Embroidered logos dress up the headrests and map pockets. Additional logos dress up the floor mats.

Every exterior light is upgraded to full LEDs, including special amber lights on the side mirrors and roof. The special high-mounted stop lamp can light the bed when the sun goes down. The Carhart logo adds an accent to the Tough Bed spray-in liner.

The Carhartt Package is priced at $4,195 and can be paired with the Premium Package and FX4 Off-Road Package. Orders opened early 2026 with deliveries expected in fall 2026.
