Size and Specifications
To be clear, the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach E is a true crossover. It has a sizable backseat as well as a large front seat area. The battery was tucked under the car floor, ensuring that interior space could be maximized.

Performance and Range
Starting with the Mach E Select, the standard range battery has a 247-mile range with rear wheel drive. With another powertrain package, the extended range battery models have a range of 277 miles (AWD) or 303 miles (RWD). The California Route 1 can go 314 miles (RWD) or 312 miles (AWD), according to EPA estimates.
Charging is easy overnight with this electric car. You can also charge the crossover at one of 70,000 plugs at over 20,500 charging stations. This includes 7,300 plugs at 3,200 DC fast charging stations.
With a fast charger, a ten-minute charge can net 60 miles of range for Ford’s electric SUV. In less than an hour, the battery can return to an 80 percent charge.
The regular battery with two electric motors generates 266 horsepower. The larger battery with dual electric motors can create either 346 horsepower or 480 horsepower. Torque rates are 600 or even 634 pound-feet.
Driver Assistance
The Ford CoPilot360 system is standard on the Mustang Mach e. This includes the forward collision warning system and the corresponding automatic emergency brake. A lane watch has a lane assist to help the driver keep the electric SUV straight within its lane.
A blind spot monitor watches the sides in forward gear. The rear cross traffic alert does the same while in reverse. Adaptive cruise control can work with lane keep assist to take the stress off the driver. Other elements of the system include pedestrian detection, a driver drowsiness monitor and automatic high beams.
Available BlueCruise is a partially automated system. It can handle automatic steering as well as speed-slow-and-go acceleration and braking. The hands-free park assist can put the electric SUV into a parking space with little intervention from the driver.
